A child on a tricycle/small bicycle is much lower than an upright adult. At present the basic method used by an adult to teach a child how to ride is to bend over in an awkward stance, holding both the child and the tricycle/small bicycle. Keeping this stance for prolonged periods of time required to allow a child to learn the riding skills can cause back strains and in some cases serious back problems. Children enjoy exploring their neighbourhood (local park, corner store etc.). However, the child has not built up the stamina to go these distances and many times is unable or unwilling to ride the tricycle/small bicycle back home. The adult is left with little choice but to carry the child and the tricycle/small bicycle. This creates an awkward and unsafe situation for both the adult and the child. With this invention these situations are avoided as the invention allows the adult to retain his or her normal posture at all times while allowing the adult to push or pull the tricycle; thus allowing the child to learn the skills of riding a tricycle/small bicycle.
