ABSTRACT Livestock spraying apparatus has a chute formed by oppo- site sides and a roof, and a chassis frame supporting the sides. Spraying jets are disposed centrally of the chute. A filter tank formed with a number of sectors is formed inte- grally with the central area of the chassis frame and has a perforate grating extending over it, and a holding tank is formed integrally with the chassis frame at one side of the filter tank. Spray solution missing or dripping from the animals is filtered in the filter tank sectors and flows to the holding tank from which it is recycled to the flow of spraying solution passed to the spray jets. The filter tank arrangement efficiently removes extraneous matter and col- lects the majority of the solution not carried out of the apparatus on the animal, and permits efficient recycling of the spray solution.
