The present invention relates to a load carrier foot (1) for mounting at least a part of a load carrier to a first surface (2) of a vehicle. The load carrier foot (1) comprising a support member (3), arranged to abut the first surface (2), a gripping member (5) having a first part (16) ar-ranged to abut the vehicle at a distance from the support member (3), an in-termediate member (9) between the support member (3) and a second part (17) of the gripping member (5), and an adjustment member (7) acting on the intermediate member (9) to adjust a clamping force between the sup-port member (3) and the first part (16) of the gripping member (5). The in-termediate member (9) cooperates with the second part (17) of the gripping member (5) at a first working point (10) and the intermediate member co-operates with the support member (3) at a second working point (11) locat-ed at a distance (D) from the first working point (10). The distance (D) be-tween the first and the second working points (10, 11) can be changed by moving at least a part of the intermediate member (9) via the adjustment member (7), to thereby vary the clamping force between the first part (16) of the gripping member (5) and the support member (3). The present inven-tion provides for a space saving arrangement and an arrangement which has improved safety aspects.
La présente invention concerne un pied de porte-charge (1) pour monter au moins une partie d'un porte-charge sur une première surface (2) d'un véhicule. Le pied de porte-charge (1) comprend un élément support (3), placé de sorte à venir buter contre la première surface (2), un élément de préhension (5) ayant une première partie (16) placée pour venir buter contre le véhicule à une certaine distance de l'élément support (3), un élément intermédiaire (9) entre l'élément support (3) et une seconde partie (17) de l'élément de préhension (5), et un élément d'ajustement (7) agissant sur l'élément intermédiaire (9) pour ajuster une force de serrage entre l'élément support (3) et la première partie (16) de l'élément de préhension (5). L'élément intermédiaire (9) coopère avec la seconde partie (17) de l'élément de préhension (5) en un premier point de fonctionnement (10) ainsi qu'avec l'élément support (3) en un second point de fonctionnement (11) situé à une distance (D) du premier point de fonctionnement (10). La distance (D) entre les premier et second points de fonctionnement (10, 11) peut être modifiée en déplaçant au moins une partie de l'élément intermédiaire (9), par l'intermédiaire de l'élément d'ajustement (7), pour faire ainsi varier la force de serrage entre la première partie (16) de l'élément de préhension (5) et l'élément support (3). La présente invention offre une configuration peu encombrante et possédant des aspects de sécurité améliorés.
