ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A load carrying device for use on a dog includes a triangular saddle which, when placed on a dog, distributes the load on each side of the dog; bags connected to each side of the saddle which extend along the sides of the dog when in use, and straps for connecting the saddle to the neck and rear end of the dog for preventing shifting of the device when in use.
