A multi-task capable work assist vehicle (10) is designed for transporting an operator (50) and items to be handled by the operator and for elevating the operator with such items supported upon a load tray (90, 90', 90'') elevated with the operator. Preferably the load tray is mounted for positioning along a telescoping mast (30) which supports and elevates the operator. A load deck or load platform (27) is provided on a body (20) of the vehicle (10) in addition to the load tray so that items such as packages, tools, parts, merchandise and the like can be carried by the vehicle. Load shelves (390, 390') may also be provided adjacent the load deck (27) to add flexibility and capacity to the load carrying capability of the vehicle. Uses of the vehicle include order picking, in-house service maintenance, stock management, cargo delivery and the like. It is designed to be compact in size and highly maneuverable for use in narrow storage aisles and tight quarters.
L'invention concerne un chariot multitâche prêt à l'emploi (10), conçu pour transporter un opérateur (50), ainsi que les articles destinés à être manipulés par ce dernier. Ce chariot est également destiné à soulever cet opérateur et ces articles sur un plateau de chargement (90, 90', 90''), qui se soulève avec ledit opérateur. Ce plateau de chargement est de préférence assemblé de manière à se placer le long d'un mât télescopique (30), qui soutient et soulève l'opérateur. Un support ou une plate-forme de chargement (27) peut être disposé sur le corps (20) dudit chariot (10), de sorte que les articles tels que des paquets, des outils, des éléments, des marchandises, et similaires, peuvent être portés par ce dernier. Des étagères de chargement (390, 390'), adjacentes à ladite plate-forme de chargement (27), permettent par ailleurs d'améliorer la flexibilité et la capacité de charge du chariot, qui peut notamment être utilisé pour la préparation des commandes, l'entretien des locaux, la gestion du stock, le déchargement de fret, et similaire. Ce chariot est d'une taille compacte et facilement manoeuvrable, afin de pouvoir être utilisé dans des allées et des passages étroits.
