ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An elastomeric lining for bulk carriers such as trucks, adapted to receive ores or broken rock and to cushion the impact on the carrier. The lining comprises a sheet of elastomeric material extending along the carrier bottom and partly up the sides, and which is suspended above the bottom of the carrier by a series of parallel, transverse ropes supported by the sides of the carrier.
