A loading device (14), in particular front loader, is proposed. The loading device (14) comprises a mast (16) which may be attached to a bracket of a vehicle (12), a boom (18) pivotably connected to the mast (16), a pivoting device (20) connected to the boom (18) for pivoting a tool (24) and a device (47) connected to the pivoting device (20), for displaying a pivoting angle of the tool (24). In order to provide a loading device with an improved device (47) for displaying a pivoting angle of the tool (24), which is less susceptible to damage, is easily visible in every pivoted position and always provides correct display values, it is proposed that the device (47) comprises adjusting means (48) and at least one display means (58, 58') arranged on the mast (16), the adjusting means actuating the display means (58, 58') depending on the pivoted position of the boom (18) and the pivoting device (20).
