The invention consists of an improvement to the method of loading of granular or other commodities that may be fluidised and conveyed by pneumatic means,to railroad hopper cars so as to be able to load a string of interconnected hopper cars from a single inlet and return outlet connection. The invention alsoallows for the control and collection of dust and other enviromental pollutants that are normally emitted in the loading of granular or powder commodities into railroad hopper cars.The improvement can be retrofitted to existing railroad hopper cars and will be in accordance with AAR Rules of Interchange.
