ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A loading ramp for loading vehicles onto the bed of a lorry comprising a framework of girders, decking on the girders and legs of variable length at one end of the frame- work, on which legs the framework can be supported at an inclination to the ground to allow vehicles to be driven or winched up or down the inclined decking. Preferably the loading ramp is mounted on wheels so that it can readily be towed, the wheels being provided on an undercarriage formed as a rigid sub-framework which is slidably movable to position the undercarriage adjacent the raised end of the framework.
