ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a loading system for clearing the floor in a mine shaft and for adapting to different cross sections or floor widths having a continuous conveyor that is arranged centrally on a mining machine and on the longitudinal axis of said machine, on which there are two continuous side feed units that can pivot, the pivoting side feed units are hinged onto the front end of the centre conveyor so as to pivot about two shafts that cross over or intersect each other, with their discharge ends above the centre conveyor. The paths for the side feed units are curved and configured so as to be concave on the side that is proximate to the machine. Preferably, a lowerable supporting shoe is arranged on the machine close to the front end, on both sides of the centre conveyor, the supporting plate of this extending beneath the side feed units at least when the side feed units are in the inward position.
