UNITED STATES/CANADA Marvin Norell Local Line Adapter ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A local line adapter regulates the telephone loop current to a voltage usable by chronograph style electronic devices such as hearing aids, radios and time indicators. The adapter includes surge protection, polarity checking and rf filter elements. A rotary switch allows connection with a variety of devices. The adapter may also be used in hospitals, and could be used as an auxiliary power supply for a household furnace for example.
