A stud (110) for installation in a host panel (176) and for fastening a component to the host panel. An annular flange (116) extends radially from the shaft. A shoulder (128) for engagement with the host panel has a top adjacent to the shaft and a base adjacent to the flange. An undercut (130) is defined at the base of the shoulder between the shoulder and the flange. A forging collar (140) having a central aperture is received in a sleeve-like fashion over the shaft and includes a forging surface (144) which is in deformable contact with the top of the shoulder and to be retained therewith.
L'invention concerne un goujon (110) destiné à être monté dans un panneau hôte (176) et qui permet de fixer un composant au panneau hôte. Une bride annulaire (116) s'étend radialement à partir de la tige. Un épaulement (128) destiné à venir en contact avec le panneau hôte présente une partie supérieure adjacente à la tige et une base adjacente à la bride. Un dégagement (130) est défini à la base de l'épaulement entre ledit épaulement et la bride. Un collet à forger (140) présentant une ouverture centrale, est engagé à la manière d'un manchon sur la tige, et comprend une surface à forger (144), laquelle est en contact déformable avec la partie supérieure de l'épaulement, ledit collet devant y être retenu.
