A mobile station (MS) for a digital cellular communication network (GSM) supporting WWW services comprises a receiver (4) for broadcast information transmitted from at least one base station sub-system (BSS 1; ...; BSS 5), a location data filter (6) adapted to select location specific data from the received broadcast information, and a mobile device interface (8) adapted to establish a connection to a mobile device (MD) being connected to the mobile station (MS), to receive a request for the location specific data from the mobile device (MD) and to transfer the location specific data to the mobile device (MD). The transfer of location specific data to a server being linked to the mobile device via a global data bearer services network allows for the provision of location dependent WWW services at the mobile device (MD).
L'invention concerne une station mobile (MS) pour un réseau de télécommunication cellulaire numérique (GMS) acceptant des services WWW. Cette station mobile comprend un récepteur (4) pour l'information de diffusion émise par au moins un des sous-systèmes station de base (BSS1;...;BSS5), un filtre (6) de données de position permettant de sélectionner des données spécifiques à la localisation dans l'information reçue, et une interface (8) permettant d'établir une connexion avec une unité mobile (MD) reliée à la station mobile, et de recevoir une demande de données spécifiques à la localisation en provenance de l'unité mobile (MD) et de transférer ces données vers l'unité mobile (MD). Le transfert de données spécifiques à la localisation vers un serveur relié à l'unité mobile via un réseau fournisseur de données mondial permet de fournir à l'unité mobile (MD) des services WWW dépendants de la localisation.
