12 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An actuator for a lock is provided with an operating handle which may be easily removed through the use of a special key and may also be reinstalled without the use of the special key or tools. The actuator may be "rekeyed" as necessary to maintain security and removal of the handle will lock the actuator.
