LOCK-LATCH SET ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rotatable latch member having stop means there- on, a plurality of locking trains of different lengths mounted to engage and disengage the stop means to lock and unlock the latch member, and a shaft assembly selectively operable by a knob or a key having a number of teeth of predetermined length, there being a key tooth for each train, the length of that tooth depending upon the length of its train. Said knob and said key being independently operable to cause all of the locking trains to disengage the stop means to unlock the latch member.
