Lock Pin Assembly Abstract A lock pin assembly is movable axially to engage an opening in a pin receiving portion of an indexable apparatus. The apparatus includes a first member which carries the pin receiving portion and a second member which carries the lock pin assembly. The first and second members are movable, one with respect to the other, and the lock pin assembly serves to lock the members against movement. The lock pin assembly is secured to a moving means which moves the pin assembly into and out of engagement with the pin receiving portion. The first and second members are subjected to severe loading and vibrations which attempt to move the first member with respect to the second member. The lock pin assembly resists the loading and vibrations and isolates the moving means from bending loads imposed upon the pin assembly.
