A security device for locking a portable article, such as a facsimile machine, printer, scanner, or other computer peripheral, to a support surface, such as a desktop. In a first embodiment of the invention, the device comprises a bracket mounted on the support surface which may be lockably coupled to a mating block affixed to the portable article. In an alternative embodiment, the device comprises a cage enclosing the portable article which may be lockably secured to the bracket.
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de sécurité permettant de verrouiller une machine portative tel un bélinographe, une imprimante, un scanner ou tout autre périphérique à la surface sur laquelle il repose, la surface d'un bureau, par exemple. Dans une première version de l'invention, le dispositif comporte un support de fixation destiné à être fixé à la surface travail et couplé à un bloc de verrouillage fixé à la machine portative. Une autre version de l'invention propose une cage à l'intérieur de laquelle la machine est renfermée, la cage étant verrouillée au support de fixation, lui-même fixé à la surface.
