The invention relates to a locking part (10) for a rapid coupling, comprising an attachment (11), which is equipped with elements that lock (18, 19) with the receiving part of a rapid coupling and an actuating element (15), which is in contact with the attachment (11) and is mounted in said attachment (11) so that it can be displaced between a release position and a locking position. The actuating element (15) comprises locking elements (22, 23, 25, 26), which engage with a retaining ring that is configured on an insertion part of the rapid coupling, when the locking part (10) is attached to the receiving part in the locking position. This ensures that the locking part (10) can be securely fixed to the rapid coupling and achieves ease of use.
