A drive axle differential has the shift fork (72,74) for the differential locking curvic clutch collar (60) slidably received over a push-rod (76) and registered against a flange (177) on the push-rod. The push-rod has one end slidably received in a bore (80) in the differential carrier and the other end threadedlyengaging an air pressure power piston (186). A slot (191) is provided in the threaded end of the push-rod for an adjustment tool and a locking screw (192) isthreaded against the push-rod after adjustment. The piston cover (188) containing the air pressure control signal port then attached to the differential carrier.
