A locking control valve (100) is provided. This control valve (100) includes a valve body (120,130) that further includes a first locking member (116) , and a handle (110) attached to the valve body. The handle is moveable between a first position and a second position for controlling the operation of the valve and further includes a second locking member (114) . The first locking member (116) and the second locking member (114) cooperate with one another to retain the handle (110) in the second position when so desired by the operator of the vehicle.
