LOCKING PARALLEL BAR HANGER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A molded pants hanger includes a lower bar and an upper bar positioned above and spaced from the lower bar in the same vertical plane. Adjacent ends of the upper and lower bars are detachably and hingedly interconnected with the upper bar movable from an open position to a closed position generally parallel with the lower bar. A support hook is joined to the center of the lower bar. A side latch including an L-shaped member integral with the free end of the lower bar cooperates with a recess formed in the free end of the upper bar to latch the upper bar to the lower bar. -1-
