ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved machine is provided for the continuous manufacture of self-locking internally threaded articles. A movable support member for receiving the fasteners is provided with a plurality of rotatable platforms, one for each fastener, each platform having a pinion disposed at the underside thereof. A stationary rack is aligned to mesh with the pinions at a predetermined location long the path of movement of the support member whereby the platforms and fasteners located thereon are continuously rotated during application of the locking patch to the internal threads over a desired circumferential portion of the threads, during movement of the support member.
