The present invention is directed at a locking slide block for slidably and pivotally mounting a window sash to a side member of a window frame having a vertical jamb channel. The window pivot has a housing with oppositely disposed sliding surfaces for guiding the housing in the jamb channel. Operably connected to the housing is a locking spring for selectively engaging the jamb channel and locking the housing in a fixed position. A sash pivot is operably connected to the sash and to the housing. The housing also has a sash pivot retainer spring. The pivot and housing have flanges to prevent the pivot from being pulled away from the housing proximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of an elongated portion of the pivot.
La présente invention a trait à un verrou coulissant permettant de fixer, de manière à ce qu'il glisse et pivote, un châssis de fenêtre à un cadre de fenêtre à jambage vertical profilé en U. Le pivot de la fenêtre est logé dans un boîtier doté de surfaces coulissantes opposées servant à guider le boîtier dans le jambage profilé en U. Un ressort de verrouillage est relié de façon fonctionnelle au boîtier pour engager sélectivement le jambage profilé en U et verrouiller le boîtier en position fixe. Un pivot de châssis est relié de façon fonctionnelle au châssis et au boîtier. Le boîtier est également muni d'un ressort de retenue de pivot de châssis. Le pivot et le boîtier présentent des bordures servant à empêcher le pivot d'être retiré du boîtier, ces bordures étant approximativement parallèles à l'axe longitudinal de la partie allongée du pivot.
