Abstract Of The Disclosure A locking system for movable closures comprises a lock mounted on an inner surface of a closure and an operating system located outside of the closure. The lock has a bolt movable between locking an unlocking positions, and releasable blocking mechanism controlling and preventing movement of the bolt to its unlocking position. A mechanism for actuating the blocking motion- is is operatively coupled to the operating system The operating system is independent of and spaced from the lock position to mask the blocking mechanism position.
