A lockout device is provided for an electrical plug. The device includes a body and a retaining member disposed within the body and axially movable between a prong retaining position and a prong releasing position. The retaining member includes a prong engaging portion and a prong retaining portion. The prong engaging portion is configured to engage at least one of the first and second prongs when the first prong is inserted in the first slot for movement of the retaining member from the prong releasing position to the prong retaining position. The prong retaining portion is configured to extend through the first transverse aperture when the first prong is inserted in the first slot, and is configured to withdraw from the first transverse aperture when the first prong is pulled from the first slot.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de verrouillage destiné à une fiche électrique. Le dispositif comporte un corps et un élément de retenue disposé dans le corps et pouvant se déplacer axialement entre une position de retenue de broche et une position de libération de broche. L'élément de retenue comporte une partie d'engagement de broche et une partie de retenue de broche. La partie d'engagement de broche est conçue pour s'engager dans au moins une broche lorsque la première broche est insérée dans la première fente pour le mouvement de l'élément de retenue de la position de libération de broche vers la position de retenue de broche. La partie de retenue de broche est conçue pour s'étendre au travers d'une première ouverture transversale lorsque la première broche est insérée dans la première fente, et conçue pour sortir de la première ouverture transversale lorsque la première broche est retirée de la première fente.
