In a distributed power railroad train, an apparatus for equalizing the equalizing reservoir (105) pressure in the remote power unit (100) and the brake pipe (101) pressure. With these pressures equal, the remote unit (100) cannot charge the brake pipe (101) while the lead unit (100) attempts to vent the brake pipe (101) to command a brake application at the railcars (200) of the train.

Dans un convoi de chemin de fer à puissance distribuée, l'invention concerne un dispositif pour égaliser la pression du réservoir d'égalisation (105) dans l'unité motrice (100) éloignée et la pression de la conduite de frein (101). Ces pressions étant égales, l'unité éloignée (100) ne peut pas mettre sous pression la conduite de frein (101) pendant que l'unité de tête (100) essaie de vider la pression de celle-ci (101) pour commander le serrage des freins des wagons (200) du train.
