This is an attachment for use on Feller Buncher machines. It is unique in its configuration and design. The Loewen 350 Rotate adapter is unique in the market place in that it is universal, it fits on any model of feller buncher, and fits to any model of Sawgead. It is unique in its design; utilizing dual planetary reduction drive gearboxes, driven by hydraulic motors, acting on a ring gear, to rotate the attachment. It is also unique in that it bolts to the OEM factory mounting bracket of the feller buncher machine and bolts to the sawhead withy no modifications to either It fits between Feller buncher's stick and the sawhead. The Loewen 350 Rotate Adapter allows the Feller Buncher operator greater control of his Sawhead. The Loewen 350 Rotate Adapter is designed to allow the operator to rotate his Sawhead 175 Degrees in either direction, thereby providing control and versatility that otherwise would be impossible when the machine is on uneven terrain or in conditions where the trees have been blown down by wind and are laying randomly on the ground.
