ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A log lift to reciprocate between a load position and an unload position. The lift has a platform to receive logs. The platform is pivotable about a pivot axis and has an outer edge remote from the pivot axis and an inner edge closer to the pivot axis than the outer edge. There is a fixed, arcuate surface adjacent the inner edge of the plat- form to keep logs on the platform as the platform pivots. The log lift is of substantially simple construction than prior art devices, which generally use a carriage on a track.
