LOG SHAPER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A machine for forming a smooth surface on a cylindrical log workpiece as it is moved longitudinally past a cutting station which includes both shaping and planing blades. The same cutting pass also includes a cove cutting operation to cut a longitudinal cove cut on the surface of the log workpiece and a plurality of transverse saddle cuts across the log workpiece.
