Log Skidding Vehicle's Pivotable Arch Structure Abstract A pivotable arch structure having an integral log bunk is pivotable at one end thereof relative to a main frame. The log bunk includes several longitudi- nally arranged bunk webs which are bolstered by laterally arranged support beams connected thereto. A bumper is arranged adjacent the end of the bunk webs near the pivot axis. The longitudinal disposition of the bunk webs promotes longitudinal log travel thereon while the bumper guides logs initially engaged there- with in a direction to promote their subsequent engagement with the bunk webs. The longitudinally arranged bunk webs also provide high operator visibility for various pivotal positions of the arch structure.
