La présente invention concerne un alcool alpha-acétylénique à longue chaîne comme inhibiteur de réaction d'hydrosilylation, son utilisation, son application pour la préparation de compositions silicones durcissables stables, son composant et son procédé pour l'obtention d'articles non adhérents. L'alcool acétylénique inhibiteur de réaction d'hydrosilylation, a pour formule: R-(R')C(OH)-C~CH (I) dans laquelle R est un radical alkyle linéaire ou ramifié, ou un radical phényle, R' est H ou R, les radicaux R, R' et l'atome de carbone situé en .alpha. de la triple liaison pouvant éventuellement former un cycle, le nombre total d'atomes de carbone contenu dans R et R' étant d'au moins 9. L'alcool de l'invention est utilisé comme inhibiteur d'hydrosilylation dans des compositions durcissables à base d'une huile de base silicone à fonctions alcényle et/ou d'une résine modulateur d'adhérence à fonctions SiAlcényle, éventuellement d'une résine modulateur d'adhérence à fonctions SiH, d'un agent de réticulation silicone à fonctions SiH et d'un catalyseur d'hydrosilylation.
