A hybrid helicopter (1) includes a central fuselage (2) defining a front end (3) and a rear end (4), the hybrid helicopter (1) having a main lift rotor (10), an additional lift surface (20), a mechanical interconnection system (40), and at least one turbine engine (61, 62) for continuously driving the main rotor (10) in rotation. Furthermore, the main rotor (10) is mechanically connected to the mechanical interconnection system (40) by rotary rotor mast (12), and the additional lift surface (20) is arranged at the rear of the hybrid helicopter (1) between the rotor mast (12) and the rear end (4) of the fuselage (2), each end zone (21 , 22 ) of the wings (21, 22) of the additional lift surface (20) being provided with a vertical element (23, 24) fitted with a rudder (23 , 24 ).
La présente invention concerne un hélicoptère hybride (1) comportant un fuselage (2) central muni d'une extrémité avant (3) et d'une extrémité arrière (4), ledit hélicoptère hybride (1) comprenant un rotor principal (10) de sustentation, une surface sustentatrice d'appoint (20), un système mécanique d'interconnexion (40), et au moins un turbomoteur (61, 62) pour entraîner en permanence en rotation ledit rotor principal (10). De plus, ledit rotor principal (10) étant relié mécaniquement au système mécanique d'interconnexion (40) par un mât rotor (12) tournant, ladite surface sustentatrice d'appoint (20) est agencée à l'arrière de l'hélicoptère hybride (1) entre ledit mât rotor (12) et ladite extrémité arrière (4) du fuselage (2), chaque zone extrémale (21', 22') desdites demi-ailes (21, 22) de la surface sustentatrice d'appoint (20) étant munie d'un élément vertical (23, 24) équipé d'un volet de direction (23', 24').
