A composition, a method for using said composition and a packaging system for said composition to significantly improve the appearance and feel of long wearing film-forming basecoats wherein said composition is a multi-layer cosmetic composition comprising: (a) a first composition, transfer-resistant, film-forming basecoat formulated to be applied to keratinous tissue to form a basecoat film thereon; and (b) a second, topcoat composition comprising a plasticizing agent wherein, the basecoat film, after application of said second, topcoat composition, has a percent L value change of the basecoat film of less than about 50% and a percent L value change of a transfer substrate greater than about 9% to about 30%, as determined by the rub test.

L'invention concerne une composition, un procédé d'utilisation de cette composition et un système d'emballage destiné à la composition, de manière à améliorer considérablement l'apparence et la sensation des bases de vernis à ongles de formation de film à longue tenue. Ladite composition constitue une composition cosmétique multicouche qui renferme (a) une base de vernis à ongles de formation de film, résistant au transfert, d'une première composition préparée pour être appliquée sur la couche cornée et (b) une seconde composition de couche de finition contenant un plastifiant. Le film de couche de finition, après application de la seconde composition de couche de finition, présente un changement de valeur L de pourcentage du film de couche de finition inférieur à environ 50 % et un changement de valeur L de pourcentage d'un substrat de transfert supérieur à environ 9 % et à environ 30 %, comme cela a été déterminé par le test de friction.
