A transfer-resistant, single phase aqueous cosmetic composition is provided. The composition contains a water-soluble, film-forming acrylic acid- or methacrylic acid-containing acrylates copolymer and a water-soluble ester. The composition is water- and oil-resistant upon drying on the skin, and exhibits high gloss and long-wearing and transfer-resistant properties. Compositions containing pigment also demonstrate high color intensity. The compositions are useful as eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss, lipliner, and other cosmetic products.

L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique aqueuse monophasée, résistante au transfert. Ladite composition contient un copolymère d'acrylates contenant de l'acide acrylique ou de l'acide méthacrylique, filmogène, hydrosoluble et un ester hydrosoluble. La composition est résistante à l'eau et à l'huile lors du séchage sur la peau et présente un brillant élevé ainsi que d'excellentes propriétés de tenue et de résistance au transfert. Les compositions contenant un pigment présentent également une intensité de couleur élevée. Les compositions sont utiles en tant que ligneur, mascara, brillant à lèvres, crayon à lèvres et autres produits cosmétiques.
