A shielded electrical wire and device and method for making the same is disclosed. The device includes a first folding die configured to fold a first edge of a shield tape a first direction from a central portion of the shield tape and to fold a second edge of the shield tape a second direction opposite to the first direction from the central portion of the shield tape, a second folding die configured to wrap the shield tape around at least two insulated conductors to apply a fold to the first edge of the shield tape so as to fold the first edge back over onto the central portion of the shield tape to form a receiving area, a third folding die configured to tighten the shield tape around the plurality of conductors while positioning the receiving area to receive a drain wire, a wire guide configured to install a drain wire in the receiving area, and a closing die configured to close the shield tape around the plurality of conductors and the drain wire to form an enclosure around the plurality of conductors with the second edge overlapping the receiving area at an outside surface of the enclosure.
L'invention porte sur un fil électrique blindé et sur un dispositif et un procédé de réalisation de celui-ci. Le dispositif comprend une première matrice de pliage configurée de façon à plier un premier bord d'une bande de blindage dans une première direction à partir d'une partie centrale de la bande de blindage, et à plier un deuxième bord de la bande de blindage dans une deuxième direction opposée à la première direction à partir de la partie centrale de la bande de blindage, une deuxième matrice de pliage configurée de façon à enrouler la bande de blindage autour d'au moins deux conducteurs isolés pour appliquer un pli au premier bord de la bande de blindage de façon à replier le premier bord sur la partie centrale de la bande de blindage afin de former une zone de réception, une troisième matrice de pliage configurée de façon à tendre la bande de blindage autour de la pluralité de conducteurs tout en positionnant la zone de réception de façon à recevoir un fil de drainage, un fil de guidage configuré de façon à installer un fil de drainage dans la zone de réception, et une matrice de fermeture configurée de façon à fermer la bande de blindage autour de la pluralité de conducteurs et du fil de drainage de façon à former une gaine autour de la pluralité de conducteurs, avec le deuxième bord chevauchant la zone de réception au niveau de la surface extérieure de la gaine.
