ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION "A LONGITUDINALLY-DIVIDED SLEEVE TUBE FOR CABLE SLEEVES" The invention relates to a sleeve tube (MF) which has a single longitudinal division and is spread in its opening area. Towards its longitudinal edges, the spread sleeve tube (MF) departs from a circular shape and exhibits an inwardly directed additional curvature (ZK) which has the result that the mating faces (SF) of the sleeve tube (MF) come directly together in face-to-face relationship with uniform contact pressure when the tube is closed.
