An expandable stent comprises a plurality of enclosed flexible spaces. Each flexible space includes first to tenth members, each having first and second ends. The first ends of the first and second members, the third and fourth members, the sixth and seventh member, and the eighth and ninth members each communicate. The second ends of the second and third members, the fifth and sixth members, the seventh and eighth members, the ninth and tenth members each communicate. The second end of the first member communicates with the first end of the fifth member. The second end of the fourth member communicates with the first end of the tenth member. Loops are formed with curved portions of the ends of the first and second members, the third and fourth members, the fifth and sixth members, the seventh and eight member and the ninth and tenth members.
