A multicellular stent comprises a first plurality of bands of cells and a second plurality of bands of cells. Each cell of the first plurality includes a plurality of loops. Each cell of the second plurality includes a plurality of loops operably connected together. The loops of the first plurality of bands of cells and the loops of the second plurality of bands of cells are cooperatively arranged to form the stent.
