ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure describes a loom for high warp tapestry which is made of two rectangular frames in which the smaller one is mounted to pivot inside the larger frame. The loom is con- structed to mount a warp by having the upper end thereof alternating between the upper part of the larger frame and the upper part of the smaller frame while the lower end of the warp is engaged in the lower part of the second frame. The mounting of the upper end of the warp on the two frames in alternate manner enables to separate alternate warp threads. By allowing the smaller frame to pivot inside the larger frame, there is produced a reverse separation of the alternate warp threads with the result that it is possible to insert a weft between two rows of warped threads after which the smaller frame is pivoted to produce an opposite separation of the warp threads. In this manner, it is possible to fabricate the tapestry without having to criss-cross the weft between the warp threads.
