2091356 9212586 PCTABS00014 The present invention provides for a loop wiring concentrator for connecting of devices comprising a controller and a plurality of peripherals in a loop. The concentrator comprises a jack for connection of a controller and a plurality of jacks for connection of peripherals, the jacks being interconnected in a loop by at least one incoming and at least one outgoing line and being capable of receiving a plug connected to the controller or a peripheral for connection of the device into the loop. Each of the jacks has means for connection of incoming and outgoing lines thereby providing for continuity of the loop when one or more of the plugs are empty. In a preferred aspect of the invention, a plurality of such loop wiring concentrators are mounted on a panel unit to provide a loop wiring concentrator panel.
