BINDER FIXTURE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A binder fixture such as those used in looseleaf notebooks comprises only three parts, each of which is molded from a synthetic resin. The binder fixture comprises a stationary base plate, a slider plate, and a drive plate. The drive plate includes two sets of pins, one set of which extends through camming grooves in the slider plate and the other set of which extends through slots in the stationary base plate. The pins have enlarged heads which are forced through the camming grooves and slots after which they expand to hold the three elements of the binder fixture together. The stationary base plate is attached to the binder cover and is provided with a set of binder loop segments which mate with another set of binder loop segments carried by the slider plate. Movement of the drive plate along the longitudinal access of the binder fixture causes lateral movement of the slider plate thus opening or closing the two sets of binder loop segments. - i -
