73125-1 ABSTRACT Disclosed are dice which can be used to select numbers to be played in lotteries having a relatively large set of numbers from which to choose, e.g. "LOTTO 6/49". Several embodiments are disclosed but all comprise single die having pairs of opposed parallel polygonal facets of at least two different types, the facets each having vertices which lie on the surface of an imaginary sphere. One embodiment has 48 facets comprising two sets of 24 triangles each, each set being the mirror image of the other. Another embodiment comprises 24 pentagons and 18 squares for a total of 42. Still another embodiment has five different types of triangles, there being 56 triangular facets in all.
