IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO LOUDSPEAKERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A loudspeaker comprising a frame, a magnet carried by the frame, a diaphragm assembly, and a suspension movably mounting the diaphragm assembly in the frame. The diaphragm assembly has a diaphragm and a sleeve extending coaxially from one of its sides towards the magnet at or adjacent the suspension. The frame exposes substantially the whole of the other side of the diaphragm, and a speech coil is mounted on the sleeve within the magnetic field of the magnet. - 1 -
