A louver assembly comprises a plurality of parallel vertically separated louvers pivotally secured at their opposite ends to a supporting frame and a control bar which determines angled positioning of the louvers. The control bar has a modular construction in that it is formed by a plurality of bar segments, one for each louver. Each bar segment is pivotally connected to its associated louver.
