ABSTRACT A louvre for a harvester chaffer or sieve has a body moulded from a high impact resistant, tough resilient plastic material. The louvre is moulded with an airfoil cross section that is smooth and uninterrupted from the leading edge to the trailing edge so as not to disturb air flow past the louvre. The louvres may be made in a sectional way, with the ends of adjacent sections fitting together with a square pin and socket coupling. At one end, where the socket is located, the louvre is equipped with a large cylindrical journal to provide a large bearing surface between the louvre and the frame. For adjustment purposes, the louvres are coupled to a common lever using a pin and socket mechanism.
