A B S T R A C T The combination of a female socket, a male electrical contact for insertion within said socket and an electrical con- tact for providing contact between said socket and male contact. The electrical contact is in the form of a louvered strip which is looped end to end to seat within the female socket. The louvers of the strip are asymmetrical in configuration with those louver portions extending inwardly of the strip to con- tact the male contact being of greater length than those louver portions extending outwardly of the looped strip to contact the female socket. With the provision of such asymme- trical louvers the looped strip seats within the socket with the median strip in close proximity with the socket bore.
