A steel contains, by weight: C: 0.3% to 0.5%, Si: 0.1% to 0.5%, Mn: 0.1% to 1%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.005% or less, Cr: 0.3% to 1.5%, Mo: 1.0% to 1.5%, Al: 0.01% to 0.1%, V: 0.03% to 0.06%, Nb: 0.04% to 0.15%, Ti: 0 to 0.015%, N: 0.01% or less, the remainder of the chemical com-position of the steel being constituted by Fe and impurities or residuals resulting from or necessary to steel production and casting processes. The steel enables to produce seamless tubes with a yield strength after heat treatment of 862 MPa or more which are particularly SSC-re-sistant.
La présente invention concerne un acier contenant, en poids : de 0,3 % à 0,5 % de C, de 0,1 % à 0,5 % de Si, de 0,1 % à 1 % de Mn, une quantité de P inférieure ou égale à 0,03 %, une quantité de S inférieure ou égale à 0,005 %, de 0,3 % à 1,5 % de Cr, de 1,0 % à 1,5 % de Mo, de 0,01 % à 0,1 % d'Al, de 0,03 % à 0,06 % de V, de 0,04 % à 0,15 % de Nb, de 0 % à 0,015 % de Ti, une quantité de N inférieure ou égale à 0,01 %, le reste de la composition chimique de l'acier étant constituée de Fe et d'impuretés ou de résidus résultant des procédés de production et de coulée de l'acier ou nécessaires à ces derniers. L'acier peut être utilisé pour produire des tubes sans soudure dotés d'une limite d'élasticité après traitement thermique de 862 MPa ou plus, particulièrement résistants à la SSC.
