The present invention relates to a steel strip with low aluminum content between 0.050 and 0.080% by weight of carbon, between 0.25 and 0.40% by weight of manganese, less than 0.020% by weight of aluminum, and between 0.010 and 0.014% by weight of nitrogen, the remainder being iron and inevitable trace impurities, to form a strip. The steel contains COTTRELL atmospheres and/or epsilon carbides precipitated at low temperature, and it has a grain count per mm2 greater than 30000 as well as, in the aged condition a percentage elongation A% satisfying the relationship: (750 Rm)/16.5 A% (850 Rm)/17.5 Rm is the maximum rupture strength of the steel.
L'invention a pour objet une tôle d'acier à basse teneur en aluminium comprenant en poids entre 0,050 et 0,080 % de carbone, entre 0,25 et 0,40 % de manganèse, moins de 0,020 % d'aluminium, entre 0,010 et 0,014% d'azote, le reste étant du fer et des impuretés résiduelles inévitables. L'acier comporte des atmosphères de COTTRELL et/ou des carbures epsilon précipités à basse température, et présente un nombre de grains par mm2 supérieur à 30000 ainsi que, à l'état vieilli, un taux d'allongement A% satisfaisant la relation : (750-Rm)/16,5 <= A% <= (850-Rm)/17,5 Rm étant la résistance maximale à la rupture.
