The invention relates to a sweetening composition comprised of a high intesity sweetener in an amount sufficient to provide greater than about 10 grams of Sucrose Equivalent Sweetness, and a carrier in an amount sufficient to provide the sweetening composition with less than about 0.49 Calories per gram of Sucrose Equivalenet Sweetness, as well as a kit comprised of a container and the sweetening composition, wherein the sweetening composition is held within the container prior to use.
