A radio frequency identification (RFID) dispenser that includes low cost electronic components that can read and write to the tag of a refill cartridge. In one embodiment, the reader utilizes a multi band pass filter to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. In another embodiment, the controller utilizes an internal comparator to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. The dispenser in both embodiments also includes a pair of transistors that write to the RFID tag of the refill cartridge. A dispenser according to the invention also includes the capability to read and/or write to tags upon cartridges employed by the dispenser, and augmenting the operation of the dispenser as a function thereof. Additionally, a dispenser of variable size is presented that is adaptable, through adjustable partitions or a telescoping cup, to receive and maintain cartridges of various sizes.
L'invention concerne un distributeur d'identification radiofréquence (RFID) comprenant des composants électroniques de faible coût qui peuvent lire ou écrire sur une étiquette d'un cartouche de recharge. Dans un mode de réalisation, le lecteur utilise un filtre passe-bande multiple afin de convertir l'identification radiofréquence en un signal numérique qui est traité par une unité de commande afin de réaliser une fonction de distribution représentant le code de l'étiquette. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'unité de commande utilise un comparateur interne afin de convertir l'identification radiofréquence en un signal numérique qui est traité par une unité de commande afin de réaliser une fonction de distribution représentant le code de l'étiquette. Dans les deux modes de réalisation, le distributeur comprend également une paire de transistors pour écriture vers l'étiquette RFID de la cartouche de recharge. Un distributeur selon la présente invention possède également une capacité d'écriture et/ou de lecture vers des étiquettes sur des cartouches utilisées par le distributeur, et d'augmenter proportionnellement le fonctionnement du distributeur. L'invention concerne en outre un distributeur de taille variable qui peut être adapté, par le biais de cloisons ajustable ou d'une coupelle télescopique, afin de recevoir et de maintenir des cartouches de différentes tailles.
